Account Executive Opportunities
You built the book. Now own a piece of the firm.
Founding Account Executives
Precision 1031 is recruiting a small group of founding Account Executives: experienced 1031 professionals whose clients and referral sources follow them. Pay built on performance. Full visibility into the revenue you generate. Stock options in the company. And a platform built around how you actually work.
Your relationships drive the business. Your paycheck doesn't show it.
The problem
You spent years earning the trust of CPAs, attorneys, brokers and investors. When one of them has an exchange, they call you, not a logo. Your book is yours, and it goes where you go.
Yet across this industry, pay is set by convention: a salary benchmarked to a job title, plus a bonus tied to how the unit did. A producer whose book generates several times a colleague's is often paid on a similar scale.
And most producers never see what their business is actually worth to the firm: the fee every client pays up front, plus the interest the firm earns on those client deposits for the 45 to 180 days it holds them.
What changes when you join
Five things you probably don't have today.
We think that's backwards. So we built Precision 1031 the other way around.
{ 01 }
Pay that follows performance.
Your compensation is calculated on the business you bring and the growth you help create. It is not a fixed salary with a modest bonus on top. High producers may also receive a base salary, but the base isn't the point. Performance is. For an established producer, we expect total compensation here to be significantly higher than what the industry typically pays.
{ 02 }
Full transparency into what you generate.
You'll see the full economic value of the business you bring: the exchange fees your clients pay on the front end, and the interest earned on their deposits while we hold them. No black box, no "firm numbers" you're not allowed to see. Your numbers, in front of you.
{ 03 }
Stock options in the company.
Every Account Executive receives stock options in Precision Exchange, Inc. Your grant reflects your historical volume and your contribution to growing the business. We know of no other qualified intermediary that offers its producers ownership in the firm itself.
{ 04 }
Technology built for producers.
A live view of every file in your book, with dates, deadlines, documents and status in one place. A client portal is part of the roadmap. The platform is ours, built for this business, not licensed from a vendor.
{ 05 }
Support that gives you your time back.
Our operations team handles exchange documentation, transaction coordination, banking, reconciliation and audit. Your time goes where it earns the most: with clients and referral sources.
Ownership
A salary pays you for a year's work. Options pay you for building something.
Most people in this industry have never been offered equity, so here is exactly what it means.
All grants are subject to the company's stock option plan, vesting schedule and individual award agreement.
{ 01 }
What a stock option is
A stock option is the right to buy shares of the company at a fixed price, called the exercise price. That price is set at fair market value on the day the option is granted, and it stays the same for the life of the option, however much the company grows.
{ 02 }
Why that matters
If the company becomes more valuable, the shares become worth more than your fixed price. That difference is yours. Today you're paid for what you close this year. As an option holder, you also share in what the company is worth because of everything you've helped build.
{ 03 }
A simple illustration
Say your options let you buy shares at $2. A few years later the shares are worth $8. Each option now lets you buy an $8 share for $2. That $6 per share is value you helped create, and you share in it. (Hypothetical figures, for illustration only.)
{ 04 }
How you earn them: vesting
Options vest over time. You earn the right to exercise them by staying and building with us. That's by design: the longer you grow the business, the more of it you own.
{ 05 }
Why it's different here
At a subsidiary of a Fortune 500 title insurer or bank, you can't own the business you're building. At most you might buy stock in the parent, where your entire book is a rounding error. At Precision 1031, your book moves the needle on the value of a company you own part of.
{ 06 }
Where we're headed
We plan to become a publicly listed company within three years. If we do, your options would be tied to publicly traded shares, with a market price you can see every day.
{ 07 }
Who receives options
Everyone on our team receives stock options. For Account Executives, grants reflect your historical volume and your contribution to growing the business. We'll walk through the specifics with you one-on-one.
The platform
Built to be the most advanced technology in the 1031 industry.
Most of this industry still runs on spreadsheets, email threads, calendar reminders and wires typed in by hand. We're building our own platform, owned outright rather than licensed, around one goal: every exchange handled precisely, and everyone who should see it able to see it.
The core exchange platform goes live for our commercial launch in February 2027. Client and referral-partner visibility follow in later releases, and as a founding Account Executive, you'll help decide what gets built next.
{ 01 }
For you
- Every file in your book in one view: status, key dates, 45- and 180-day deadlines, documents and deposits
- Know exactly where a deal stands without chasing anyone
- The revenue each of your exchanges generates, fees and interest, visible to you
- Visibility you can share with your referral sources, so your CPAs, attorneys and brokers can follow their clients' exchanges
{ 02 }
For your clients
- One secure login for their whole exchange
- Where they are in the process, and what comes next
- Every date and deadline, clearly shown
- Every document they've been sent, collected in one place
{ 03 }
For everyone's peace of mind
- Controls enforced by the system, not just by policy: dual authorization on every disbursement, and the person who opens an exchange is never the person who releases the funds
- Wire instructions verified independently, never from details in the payment request itself
- A complete audit trail, built in from day one
Fund security
The first question your clients will ask. Here's your answer.
When you move, your clients will want to know one thing: is my money safe with you? You'll be able to answer precisely.
In an industry with no federal oversight, being able to answer this question clearly is an advantage you'll carry into every client conversation.
{ 01 }
Segregated accounts
At a national commercial bank, never commingled with company funds.
{ 02 }
Never invested
In anything that could lose principal.
{ 03 }
Dual authorization
On every disbursement, enforced by the platform.
{ 04 }
Independent wire verification
No change to wire instructions is accepted without re-verification through a separate channel.
{ 05 }
Fidelity bond, errors and omissions, and cyber coverage
Above the statutory minimums in every state where we operate.
{ 06 }
An independent audit function
Reviewing files and fund movements from the very first transaction.
Who we're looking for
This is for producers, not applicants.
You'll recognize yourself here if:
{ 01 }
You have an established book of exchange business, and it follows you.
Your clients follow you, not the letterhead, and your referral sources trust you personally.
{ 02 }
Your business comes from relationships.
CPAs and accountants, attorneys, commercial and residential brokers, title and escrow officers, wealth advisors and repeat investors.
{ 03 }
You're out hunting.
You build referral relationships and bring in new business rather than waiting for files to land on your desk.
{ 04 }
You've been in the business long enough to know what your book is worth.
And you suspect you're not being paid for it.
{ 05 }
You want to own part of what you build.
Every founding Account Executive receives stock options in the company, granted at today's value.
Why now
The best time to join a firm is before everyone else does.
Precision 1031 launches commercially in February 2027. Founding Account Executives join before the first exchange closes, and that matters.
We're not building a sales force to originate business from zero. We're assembling a small group of proven producers. That list is short by design.
The largest residential brokerages of the last decade, eXp Realty among them, grew by recruiting producers with better economics and ownership. Our CEO built a mortgage brokerage the same way, growing it to 125 people in its first full year. We're bringing that model to 1031.
{ 01 }
Your options are granted at today's value.
Before the company has grown into what we're building.
{ 02 }
You help shape the platform.
Your workflow, your referral sources and your clients' needs shape what we build next.
{ 03 }
You work directly with the founders.
No layers, no regional committee, no waiting on a decision from a parent company two time zones away.
Leadership
Who you'd be building with.
A founding team with capital markets execution and three decades of real estate relationships.
Chief Executive Officer
Joel Arberman
More than three decades building companies across investment banking, asset management and capital markets. Joel founded a residential mortgage brokerage on the same producer-recruiting model, scaling it to 125 people and $2.3 million in revenue by the end of its first full year. He has been directly involved in taking seventeen companies public.
President
Paul Bergman
More than 30 years in luxury residential and commercial real estate, from South Africa and London to New York, Los Angeles and South Florida. Based in Palm Beach, Paul has spent his career inside the referral networks that surround 1031 producers: brokers, developers, investors and advisors.
Chief Operating Officer
TBD
A senior operations leader with more than two decades across 1031 exchange, escrow and title, including regional leadership at a large qualified intermediary. This executive brings a background in organizational efficiency and team development, and will lead exchange administration, transaction coordination and compliance, building the processes that keep client funds and deadlines under tight control. The role joins the founding team in February 2027.
Advisor
Mary Frances Coleman
Former General Counsel and Chief Operating Officer of eXp Realty, one of the largest U.S. brokerages, built by recruiting producers on better economics and equity. Earlier, as VP of the Default Services Division at Fidelity National Title, she led its trustee sale work in Maricopa County through the last real estate downturn.

Frequently asked questions
How is compensation calculated?
On performance: the business you bring and your contribution to growing the firm. Because every book is different, we discuss specifics one-on-one.
Is there a base salary?
For high producers, there can be. But the base is not the centerpiece. Your total compensation is driven by performance, not by a salary band.
What about benefits?
Account Executives are eligible for any benefits the company offers.
How are stock options allocated?
Everyone on our team receives options. For Account Executives, grants reflect historical volume and contribution to growth. We'll walk you through it on the call.
Do I need to relocate?
No. You can work remotely from anywhere in the U.S.
Which states can I close exchanges in?
We complete exchange facilitator registration and bonding wherever our Account Executives' business requires it. Tell us where your transactions are, and we'll plan around your book.
Who handles the paperwork?
Our operations team handles documentation, coordination, banking, reconciliation and audit. You focus on clients and referral sources.
I have a non-compete or non-solicit. Is that a problem?
Bring it to the conversation. We respect existing obligations, and we recommend you have your own attorney review any agreement you've signed.
Is this conversation confidential?
Completely. Nothing you share is disclosed to your current employer or anyone else.

Thank you.
One of our founders will be in touch within two business days to set up a time.
